From Dynamicweb to WordPress — with automatic employee and image synchronisation
Envidan received a new WordPress solution with a flexible template builder, HubSpot integration and automatic synchronisation of employees and images from their external systems — so content only needs to be updated in one place.
Envidan were running an outdated Dynamicweb solution that did not give them the flexibility and ease of use they needed to maintain and expand their digital presence. At the same time, the lack of system integrations meant employee data and images had to be updated manually across multiple platforms — a time-consuming and error-prone process for a consultancy with a large headcount.
The project was carried out in collaboration with Publico as project managers and Ineo from Aarhus as design leads. Our role was the full technical development and implementation. We built a new WordPress solution from scratch and migrated the content from Dynamicweb. The platform is structured in two layers: blog posts and technical articles are locked to a fixed, consistent template that ensures a professional appearance, while other pages — about us, contact, services — are built using a flexible template builder. Here Envidan's own team can freely compose new sub-pages from a library of pre-built modules we developed for them. A central part of the solution is the automatic integrations. Employee profiles and images synchronise automatically from Envidan's external image system directly to the website, and the solution is integrated with HubSpot so leads and contact forms connect directly to their CRM. The result is a platform where Envidan does not have to maintain the same content in two places.
